Why Samsung doesnt sell their laptops in the US market?

Samsung laptop is very expensive than other laptops in Korea. However they dont even try to sell their laptops in the US.

I could guess the reasons why.

First reason is because they are very smart. Because of the price, they have known they cant sell that much laptops in the us market so if they launch and compete their laptops in the us they have to down the price. This will effect on their laptop price in the Korean market. They might lose their potential profit in Korean market.
The second reason is because if their laptops were sold in the us, many bloggers and regular customers would review them. This would show how expensive the samsung laptops than others with the same spec. Not even the price, their performance would be compared. Most Korean customers would disappoint with their purchased samsung laptops. These two reasons are just my opinions and cant gurantee these are true or not. I was just wondering why Samsung sell their laptops only in Korea with very expensive price. Samsung laptop is more expensive than Sony one in Korea.
